Negli anni successivi si \u00e8 consolidata una notevole expertise nell\u2019affrontare nel modo pi\u00f9 ampio possibile il tema della Valutazione del Rischio (Risk Assessment), elemento-chiave di ogni attivit\u00e0 finalizzata a tutelare la salute umana e l\u2019ambiente.L\u2019attenzione si \u00e8 dunque rivolta alle componenti ambientali e sanitarie quali criticit\u00e0 emergenti: i progetti sviluppati sono dedicati al monitoraggio epidemiologico e alla valutazione dell\u2019impatto sanitario per nuovi impianti industriali e infrastrutture di vario tipo, alla valutazione tossicologica ed eco-tossicologica di sostanze di uso industriale a fini preventivi e regolamentatori, a valutazioni di igiene industriale e di impatto ambientale delle attivit\u00e0 industriali. Melete si avvale di un team inter- e multi-disciplinare, composto da tossicologi, chimici, medici, biologi, esperti in igiene occupazionale e ambientale. L\u2019approccio usato \u00e8 tendenzialmente quello della ricerca applicata, utile allo sviluppo di nuovi strumenti e strategia per affrontare problemi
